Summary

CVE-2023-51721 is a vulnerability affecting Skyworth Router CM5100, specifically version 4.1.1.24. The issue arises from insufficient input validation for the Time Server 2 parameter in the device's web interface. An attacker can capitalize on this weakness by delivering specially crafted input to the vulnerable parameter. Successfully exploiting the vulnerability enables stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, putting the targeted system at risk.
