Summary

CVE-2023-51361 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Ginger Plugins Sticky Chat Widget. The issue lies in the improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into the Click to chat, SMS, Email, Messages, Call Button, Live Chat, and Live Support Button features. Successful exploitation may result in unauthorized access to user data oreven take control of the affected website. The vulnerability has been identified in versions 1.1.8 and below of the Sticky Chat Widget.
