Summary
CVE-2023-51123 is a newly-discovered vulnerability affecting D-Link dir815 routers with firmware version 1.01SSb08.bin. This issue permits remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a crafted POST request to the service parameter in the soapcgi_main function of the cgibin binary component. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or system compromise. Users are urged to update their firmware to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
