Summary

CVE-2023-5110 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the BSK PDF Manager plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the insufficient sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the 'bsk-pdfm-category-dropdown' shortcode. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious web scripts into pages. Once executed, these scripts can compromise user data or take control of the affected WordPress site. Versions up to and including 3.4.1 are susceptible to this vulnerability.
