Summary

CVE-2023-50930 is a vulnerability affecting the savignano S/Notify application used in Jira before version 4.0.2. This issue allows an attacker to execute a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack while an administrative user is logged on. The attacker can manipulate the configuration settings of S/Notify, including disabling email encryption for notifications. An administrator could inadvertently trigger this vulnerability by clicking a malicious link in an email or visiting a malicious website. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can result in unencrypted email notifications from Jira, potentially exposing sensitive information.
