Summary

CVE-2023-50896 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting weForms, the Easy Drag & Drop Contact Form Builder for WordPress. The flaw, which allows Stored XSS attacks, exists due to improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. This issue can be exploited by attackers to inject malicious scripts into a targeted website, potentially stealing user data or taking control of user sessions. The vulnerability impacts all versions of weForms from n/a through 1.6.17. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest patched version to mitigate this risk.
