Summary
CVE-2023-50720 is a vulnerability affecting the XWiki Platform, a generic wiki solution. Prior to versions 14.10.15, 15.5.2, and 15.7-rc-1, the platform's Solr-based search feature inadvertently discloses email addresses of users, even when email obfuscation is enabled. This can be demonstrated by searching for `objcontent:email*` using the regular search interface. This issue has been resolved in versions 14.10.15, 15.5.2, and 15.7-rc-1 by preventing the indexing of email address properties when obfuscation is activated. There are currently no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
