Details
Summary
CVE-2023-50710 is a vulnerability affecting the Hono web framework, which uses TypeScript. Before version 3.11.7, this framework is susceptible to a path parameter override issue when TrieRouter is in use. This vulnerability can lead to unintended parameters being used during REST API resource deletion, posing a risk for privileged users. TrieRouter is employed either explicitly or implicitly when the application matches an unsupported RegExpRouter pattern. Version 3.11.7 introduces a fix for this flaw, and as a workaround, developers should avoid using TrieRouter directly.
