Summary

CVE-2023-50453 is a vulnerability affecting Zammad before version 6.2.0. The issue lies in the public endpoint /api/v1/signshow, which is used for the login screen. Instead of displaying only the login form, this endpoint inadvertently exposes internal configuration data of user object attributes, including selectable values, that should not be visible to the public. This oversight could potentially enable an attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or manipulate the login process. Zammad users are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability.
