Summary

CVE-2023-50441 is a vulnerability affecting PRIMX ZONECENTRAL for Windows before Q.2021.2 and ZONECENTRAL for Windows before 2023.5. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to modify encrypted folders created by these software and insert a UNC reference. Consequently, affected computers will initiate outbound network traffic when these folders are opened. This vulnerability can result in potential data exfiltration or unauthorized network access. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to update their PRIMX ZONECENTRAL software to the latest version.
