Summary
CVE-2023-5041 is a vulnerability affecting the Track The Click WordPress plugin before version 0.3.12. This issue allows logged-in users with an author role or higher to execute time-based blind SQL injection attacks. The plugin fails to sanitize query parameters to its stats REST endpoint before using them in a database query. This vulnerability can potentially be exploited to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or perform other malicious activities. Users are strongly advised to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
