Summary

CVE-2023-5036 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the usememos/memos GitHub repository before version 0.15.1. An attacker could exploit this issue by manipulating a user into visiting a malicious website, resulting in unintended actions being performed on their GitHub account, such as committing unwanted changes or transferring ownership of repositories. The vulnerability poses a serious security risk, as it bypasses the user's authenticated session, allowing unauthorized actions to be taken.
