Summary

CVE-2023-50312 is a cybersecurity vulnerability affecting IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty versions 17.0.0.3 to 24.0.0.2. This issue allows for weaker than expected security in outbound TLS connections due to the server's failure to honor user configuration. IBM's X-Force team has assigned ID 274711 to this issue. By not adhering to user-defined security settings, unintended data leakage or man-in-the-middle attacks could potentially occur during TLS communication.
