Summary

CVE-2023-50297 is a newly discovered open redirect vulnerability affecting PowerCMS 6 Series, 5 Series, and 4 Series. This issue enables unauthenticated attackers to redirect users to arbitrary websites by crafting specific URLs. Notably, all unsupported versions of PowerCMS 3 Series and earlier are also vulnerable to this vulnerability. This security flaw could potentially lead to phishing attacks, data theft, or other malicious activities if exploited. Users are strongly advised to upgrade their PowerCMS systems to a patched version to mitigate this risk.
