Summary
CVE-2023-50120 is a Denial of Service vulnerability affecting MP4Box GPAC version 2.3-DEV-rev636-gfbd7e13aa-master. An infinite loop found in the av1_uvlc function of media_tools/av_parsers.c can be exploited by attackers to cause MP4Box to crash or consume excessive system resources when processing a specially crafted MP4 file. This vulnerability poses a risk for organizations dealing with MP4 media files and is advised to be patched promptly.
