Summary
CVE-2023-50100 is a newly disclosed Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting JFinalcms version 5.0.0. Malicious actors can exploit this weakness during carousel image editing, allowing them to inject malicious scripts into unsuspecting users' browsers. The scripts could steal sensitive data, install malware, or perform other unintended actions. Users running this outdated version are strongly advised to update their JFinalcms installations to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of a successful attack.
