Summary
CVE-2023-49990 is a newly disclosed buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Espeak-ng version 1.52-dev. The issue lies within the function SetUpPhonemeTable in synthdata.c, which can be exploited by an attacker to overwrite memory beyond the intended bounds, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.
