Summary
CVE-2023-49950 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Logpoint SIEM versions 6.10.0 through 7.x up to 7.3.0. The issue lies in the Jinja templating feature, which fails to properly sanitize log data displayed when using a custom Jinja template in the Alert view. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting an XSS payload into log data. If the payload is included in an alert, it will execute upon being viewed with the affected template, potentially leading to sensitive data disclosure.
