Summary
CVE-2023-49877 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting IBM System Storage Virtualization Engine models TS7700 3957-VEC, 3948-VED, and 3957-VEC. This issue stems from improper URL filtering, enabling a remote, authenticated user to obtain sensitive information. By crafting a malicious HTTP GET request, an attacker can gain unauthorized access to application source code, system configuration information, or other confidential data related to the Management Interface. IBM X-Force has assigned ID 272651 to this vulnerability.
