Summary
CVE-2023-49619 is a race condition vulnerability affecting Apache Answer versions up to 1.2.0. Normally, users can only bookmark a question once, but a malicious script can exploit this issue to increase the number of bookmarks for a single question repeatedly. This could potentially lead to unintended consequences, such as resource exhaustion or data corruption. To mitigate this risk, users are strongly advised to upgrade to Apache Answer version 1.2.1, which includes the necessary fix for this vulnerability.
