CVE-2023-4957 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Zebra Technologies ZTC ZT410-203dpi ZPL printers. This issue involves an authentication bypass, enabling an attacker on the same network to modify the printer's Web Page username and password. The exploit necessitates sending a carefully crafted POST request to the setvarsResults.cgi file, but only works when the printer's protected mode is disabled. This vulnerability poses a significant risk if the printers are not secured properly, potentially leading to unauthorized access and further network compromises.
