Summary

CVE-2023-49552 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Cesanta mjs version 2.20.0. This issue involves an Out of Bounds Write flaw in the mjs_op_json_stringify function located in the msj.c file. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to trigger a denial of service (DoS) attack. The writing of data beyond designated boundaries may result in unintended memory manipulation and system instability, leading to the denial of service condition. It is recommended that users upgrade to a patched version of Cesanta mjs to mitigate this risk.
