Summary

CVE-2023-49487 is a newly disclosed cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting JFinalCMS version 5.0.0. This issue was identified in the navigation management department of the content management system. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized data access or theft of user sessions. It is recommended that users immediately update to a patched version of JFinalCMS to mitigate this risk.
