Summary

CVE-2023-38204 is a deserialization vulnerability affecting Adobe ColdFusion versions 2018u18 and earlier, 2021u8 and earlier, and 2023u2 and earlier. This issue allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code without user interaction, making it a serious threat. The vulnerability arises from the deserialization of untrusted data, which can be exploited to inject malicious code into the ColdFusion application. Adobe strongly advises users to apply the available patches as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
