Summary

CVE-2023-49396 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting JFinalCMS version 5.0.0. The issue involves a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability found in the /admin/category/save function. An attacker can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary actions on the targeted user's account, such as modifying or deleting data, by tricking them into clicking on a malicious link. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to unauthorized changes to the affected JFinalCMS instance.
