Summary

CVE-2023-49321: WithSecure's Client Security, Server Security, Email and Server Security, Endpoint Protection, and Endpoint Protection for Mac, Linux Security, Linux Protection, and Atlant products are susceptible to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. Scanning a specially crafted file causes the scanner to hang and takes an extended period of time, potentially leading to service disruption. Affected versions include WithSecure Client Security 15 and later, WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection 17 and later, WithSecure Client Security for Mac 15 and later, WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection for Mac 17 and later, WithSecure Linux Security 64 12.0, WithSecure Linux Protection 12.0, and WithSecure Atlant 1.0.35-1. This vulnerability can negatively impact the availability of these WithSecure solutions.
