Summary

CVE-2023-49269 is a vulnerability affecting Hotel Management v1.0, which allows for authenticated Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. The 'adults' parameter in the reservation.php resource is copied directly into HTML without proper encoding, allowing any input to be echoed unmodified in the application's response. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious code into the 'adults' parameter, which is then executed in the user's browser when they view the affected webpage. This can lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious actions. Users are advised to update to the latest version of Hotel Management software to mitigate this risk.
