Summary

CVE-2023-49208 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Glewlwyd Single Sign-On (SSO) server version 2.7.5 and below. The issue lies in the scheme/webauthn.c module during FIDO2 credentials validation in the webauthn registration process. A buffer overflow occurs, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution if an attacker can supply maliciously crafted input. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized access or system compromise. Users are strongly urged to update their Glewlwyd SSO servers to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
