Summary

CVE-2023-4920 is a vulnerability affecting the BEAR for WordPress plugin. Versions up to and including 1.1.3.3 are impacted, due to missing or incorrect nonce validation in the woobe_save_options function. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to modify plugin settings through Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks, by tricking site administrators into performing certain actions, such as clicking on a malicious link. Furthermore, input sanitization and escaping within the plugin are insufficient, potentially enabling malicious script injection.
