Summary

CVE-2023-49104 is a vulnerability affecting ownCloud's oauth2 component before version 0.6.1. When "Allow Subdomains" is enabled, an attacker can provide a specially crafted redirect-URL that bypasses validation. This allows the attacker to redirect callbacks to a domain under their control, potentially gaining unauthorized access to user accounts. This issue poses a significant security risk and OwnCloud users are advised to upgrade to a patched version as soon as possible.
