Summary

CVE-2023-49103: A vulnerability was discovered in the ownCloud owncloud/graphapi 0.2.x before 0.2.1 and 0.3.x before 0.3.1 versions. The graphapi app utilizes a third-party GetPhpInfo.php library, which discloses sensitive PHP environment information when the related URL is accessed. This data encompasses all webserver environment variables, posing a threat to ownCloud admin passwords, mail server credentials, and license keys in containerized deployments. Disabling the graphapi app does not mitigate the issue. Furthermore, phpinfo exposes additional potentially exploitable configuration details, making this a concern for all environments, regardless of containerization status. Note that Docker containers created before February 2023 are not vulnerable to credential disclosure.
