Summary

CVE-2023-49082 is a vulnerability affecting the aiohttp library, an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. This issue arises due to improper validation, allowing attackers to manipulate HTTP requests by inserting new headers or even creating new requests if they can control the HTTP method. This vulnerability is significant as it can lead to request smuggling if the attacker also controls the HTTP version of the request. The affected version is below 3.9.0, and users are advised to update to the patched version to mitigate this risk.
