Summary

CVE-2023-49042 is a critical heap overflow vulnerability affecting Tenda AX1803 v.1.0.0.1. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious input to the setSchedWifi function via the schedStartTime or schedEndTime parameters. Successful exploitation results in arbitrary code execution, allowing an attacker unlimited access and control over the affected device. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to network security and requires immediate attention and remediation.
