Summary

CVE-2023-48929 is a session fixation vulnerability affecting Franklin Fueling Systems' System Sentinel AnyWare (SSA) version 1.6.24.492. An attacker can manipulate the 'sid' parameter in the group_status.asp resource, enabling them to escalate privileges and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. This issue poses a significant risk to organizations using SSA, as it allows unauthenticated users to potentially bypass security measures and gain administrative control.
