Summary

CVE-2023-4888 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Simple Like Page Plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to and including 1.5.1, exposes user-supplied attributes to attackers with contributor-level access and above. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, enabling attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. When a user accesses an injected page, the malicious scripts are executed, posing a significant security risk.
