Summary

CVE-2023-4882 is a denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability that can be exploited by an attacker to register a new Virtual Network Function (VNF) value. This action triggers the `args_assets()` function defined in the `arg-log.php` file, resulting in the execution of the `args-abort.c` file and causing the service to crash. An attacker may deliberately register a malicious VNF to target and crash the affected system, leading to potential downtime or disruptions in network services. This vulnerability highlights the importance of securing VNF registrations and implementing sufficient access controls to prevent unauthorized modifications.
