Summary

CVE-2023-48805 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the TOTOLINK X6000R V9.4.0cu.852_B20230719 firmware. The issue lies within the shttpd file and specifically the sub_4119A0 function. When the Uci_Set_Str function is used to obtain fields from the front-end and passed to the CsteSystem function, it creates an environment for command execution vulnerabilities. Unauthorized users may exploit this weakness to execute malicious commands, potentially leading to system compromise. This vulnerability poses a significant risk and requires urgent attention from TOTOLINK users and administrators.
