Summary
CVE-2023-4879 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This issue affects the instantsoft/icms2 GitHub repository before version 2.16.1.-git. An attacker could exploit this stored XSS vulnerability by injecting malicious code into a web page viewed by other users, potentially stealing sensitive information or taking control of their accounts. Users are strongly advised to update their repositories to the latest version to mitigate this risk. Failure to do so could result in serious security consequences.
