Summary

CVE-2023-48766 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the SVGator application, version 1.2.4 and below. A successful exploit of this issue could allow an attacker to perform unintended actions on a user's account, such as modifying or deleting SVG animated files, by tricking the user into opening a malicious link. The CSRF vulnerability stems from insufficient input validation and authorization checks in SVGator's SVG file editor. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version of SVGator or implement CSRF tokens to protect against this threat.
