Summary
CVE-2023-48748 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Salient Core, a popular WordPress theme. The flaw, located in the theme's core software, allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages generated by the theme. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized access to user data or session hijacking. The vulnerability exists in versions of Salient Core from n/a through 2.0.2. Users are advised to update their themes to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
