Summary

CVE-2023-48649 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Concrete CMS versions prior to 8.5.13 and 9.x before 9.2.2. An attacker can exploit this flaw by uploading a maliciously named file on the Admin page, which is then stored and executed in a user's browser when they view the affected page. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to inject and execute malicious scripts, potentially leading to unauthorized access to user data or session hijacking. Users are advised to update their Concrete CMS installations as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
