Summary

CVE-2023-48638 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Adobe Substance 3D Designer versions 13.0.0 and earlier, as well as 13.1.0 and earlier. This issue involves an out-of-bounds read vulnerability which, if exploited, could result in the exposure of sensitive memory content. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as it allows an attacker to bypass mitigations like Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). In order to exploit this flaw, the victim must open a maliciously crafted file.
