Summary

CVE-2023-48520 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and older. A low-privileged attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute malicious JavaScript in a victim's browser when they visit the page with the vulnerable form field. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it could result in data theft, session hijacking, or other forms of unauthorized access. Users are strongly advised to update their Adobe Experience Manager installations as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
