Summary

CVE-2023-48495 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and prior. This issue allows a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into a vulnerable page by convincing a victim to visit a specially crafted URL. Successful exploitation can result in the execution of the attacker's code within the victim's browser. The vulnerability is DOM-based, meaning it exploits weaknesses in the handling of data within the Document Object Model (DOM). To mitigate this risk, it is recommended that affected organizations upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Experience Manager as soon as possible.
