Summary
CVE-2023-48491 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier. This issue allows a low-privileged attacker to execute malicious JavaScript code within a victim's browser if they can get the victim to visit a specially crafted URL referring to a vulnerable page. The attacker can potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or take control of the victim's session. Users are advised to update their Adobe Experience Manager installations as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
