Summary
CVE-2023-48427 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting all versions of SINEC INS before V1.0 SP2 Update 2. This issue stems from the software's failure to validate the certificate of the configured UMC server. Consequently, an attacker can intercept sensitive credentials transmitted to the UMC server and manipulate responses, potentially escalating privileges.
