Summary
CVE-2023-48423 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server. The issue lies within the "dhcp4_SetPDNAddress" function in the "dhcp4_Main.c" file, where a missing bounds check can result in an out-of-bounds write. Consequentially, an attacker could exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code without requiring elevated privileges or user interaction.
