Summary
CVE-2023-4841 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Feeds for YouTube plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 2.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the 'youtube-feed' shortcode. Successful exploitation of this flaw enables attackers to execute their malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
