Summary

CVE-2023-48392 is a vulnerability affecting Kaifa Technology's WebITR online attendance system. The issue lies in the use of a hard-coded encryption key. An unauthenticated attacker can generate a valid token parameter and exploit this flaw to gain unauthorized access to the system. They can assume arbitrary user accounts, including administrator accounts, and execute permissions associated with those accounts. Ultimately, this vulnerability allows attackers to obtain sensitive information from the affected system.
