Summary

CVE-2023-48200 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Grocy inventory management system version 4.0.3. This issue permits a local attacker to inject malicious code into the equipment description component within the /equipment/ component. By successfully exploiting this vulnerability, the attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information and potentially execute arbitrary code on affected systems. Users are strongly urged to update their Grocy installations to a secure version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
